Summer is almost over. Time for back-to-school, raking leaves, and fond thoughts of finally moving to somewhere warmer.
Here’s some doggie news from around the web:
- It was released just over a week ago, but I think this statement from Ed Sayres, President of the ASPCA, is worth reading. It’s about a close to my feelings on the matter as anyone else I have read so far.
- The genes that govern a dog’s coat have been isolated. This has very interesting implications for humans too.
- Bo Obama was back in the news!
After the discussion of Vick above, I think we need a couple of laughs, so here goes:
This is from a very funny BBC show that I hope makes it over here:
And this is from the Onion, which I am convinced has some true dog lovers on staff:
And don’t forget:
- Group classes starting in a couple of weeks in Franklin Lakes. I know many of you are from out of town, but if you are local and are considering a class, or maybe have a friend who you think would interested, time is approaching.
- My post over on Dog Star Daily about extinction (the behavioral type). There are also a couple of new posts by Ian Dunbar over there!
- My post on the Three Dog Blog.
Have a great weekend!
