Morgan

When I rescued/adopted Morgan a six-month-old female boxer, I found myself with a dog that was afraid of everything. Sounds, people, and going out of the house — even I could not get close to her. After a couple of weeks I was sincerely thinking about getting rid of her and bringing her back to the place where I got her. However, I decided to do some research in the internet about training.

While doing my research I came across the Dog Spelled Forward site and decided to have Eric try her. Eric started her training and he showed so much care for Morgan. He was patient and caring with her, after a couple of weeks I started to see Morgan changing her behavior. She started to let me come by her, going out to the backyard as long as was in her safety zone she was okay.

To make it short, Morgan is now 1 year old and she is an unbelievable dog. She walks on her leash, plays with other dogs, she still afraid of some sounds but not the way it was before. When people come to the house, she is the first one at the door greeting them.

To finish Morgan and I are forever grateful to Eric. Thanks to his caring and patience, he changed Morgan from a scared dog to a dog that is a pleasure to have around.
Eric, please keep on, you are the best.

rustyWe have 3 boys youngest being 13 so we felt this was the time to have the first family dog.

Rusty is a goldendoodle that has become one of the family so when starting to look for a trainer for him and my family we wanted a trainer that would be loving, friendly but stern. Eric has been that person. Rusty just loves to see him and to please him. His help with the training, but most important, knowledge of dog behavior has been so helpful. His communication if we have a problem during the week has been great as his website has been. His help with starting out slow with a few commands and to master them has really helped with Rusty. We just keep doing the same thing all week and then Rusty shows Eric what he has learned. He is the proud dog when Eric gives him a treat.

Rusty has been a great addition to our family as well as Eric.

whitneyEric displays a real love for dogs. He is patient and flexible with dogs as well as their owners! Our Bichon Frise, Whitney, responded quickly to rewards for listening to commands. It has been wonderful to see her “want to show us” what she has learned. Thank you, Eric.

laura_dogsEric helped me better understand how my dogs think…and how to relate to them and their motivations. I really appreciate his approach to dog training, it’s really more “people training” with dogs tagging along.

jewelsMy husband and I enrolled our puppy, Jewels, in Eric’s basic training class and have been thrilled with her progress. Through his attentiveness and patience, Eric has given us some great tools to properly train our puppy. He has shared his effective techniques on important commands and behaviors to which Jewels was immediately receptive. Eric also offered his professional guidance when we ran into some housebreaking issues and by implementing his suggested tactics Jewels has not had any accidents!
