Recent research shows that some birds are intelligent enough to use stones to raise the water level in containers so they can drink from them. (This is very real, BTW. Not a hoax.)
This is pretty cool. I’m really very excited by the recent research that shows that animals are much more intelligent than we have been giving them credit for. There’s more on this over at Not Exactly Rocket Science.
That said, we’ve always know how intelligent birds are…..
