The Company of Animals sent me a Nina Ottosson “Dog Twister” to review. This toy is a bit more complex than the Dog Brick I reviewed a while back, but it also has a nice difficulty adjustment built in. I really like this one!
Here’s the review:
I really recommend this model if you plan on trying a Nina Ottosson toy out. It’s very versatile and a lot of fun. You can pick up a “Dog Twister” here (affiliate link.)

I would love to have one of these for Lilly, but I worry that she'd break the plastic. Does it feel sturdy enough to you? The plastic brick I saw in a store seemed a little flimsy.
It feels more substantial than the Brick, and Caffeine is not at all gentle.
Caffeine is a hoot – trying what might require less work by upending the thing – see if cookies fly out! I got this to review too and it will be fun to see how a short-snouted Shih Tzu deals with increasing complexity. He didn't love the locking bones on the Tornado but was fine without them. I think not having canines may hinder him in this maneuver, but then it could be me not wanting my sweet dog to feel deficient in any way – yeah, I confess, stoopid human;-) Fun video, Eric – thanks!
Roger that. Thanks.
